Projects
In addition to my teaching and research, I am involved with a variety of digital projects. These projects use digital technologies to accomplish unique pedagogical and creative goals.
Current Projects
Spring 2012 Oral History Project: I am leading a group of undergraduate writers and researchers in an oral history project during spring of 2012. This wiki-based project seeks to document the effect of the economic downturn on the UT Dallas community using oral history techniques. It is hoped that the hybrid methods developed for this project will be applicable to other grassroots documentary projects.
<emma>: The <emma> software suite provides a free and open source teaching environment for composition classrooms. I have contributed as a beta tester and developer since 2010.
Past Projects
TECHStyle: During my time as a Brittain fellow at Georgia Tech, I wrote for TECHStyle, the Brittain fellow forum on digital research and pedagogy. I also helped to maintain the site. TECHstyle is currently maintained by Katy Crowther, Diane Jakacki and the rest of the current Brittain Fellows.
